Oscoda Wurtsmith Airport Authority is requesting bids from licensed asbestos abatement contractors for the Building 383 Asbestos Abatement Project in Oscoda, Michigan. The project includes removal and proper disposal of select asbestos-containing materials to support a limited-scope interior renovation project. The scope of work includes asbestos-containing drywall, pipe wrap, and flooring materials located within the affected work areas. Northern Analytical Services, LLC has prepared a written asbestos abatement project design to identify the regulated materials, define the scope of work, and establish required abatement procedures. NAS will also perform post-abatement clearance testing following completion of the asbestos removal work. This project supports safe renovation planning, asbestos abatement, hazardous building materials management, airport facility maintenance, and regulatory compliance within a public facility.
