Oscoda Area Schools is requesting bids from licensed asbestos abatement contractors to complete limited asbestos abatement work at Oscoda High School and Richardson Elementary School in Oscoda, Michigan. The asbestos abatement project includes removal and proper disposal of select asbestos-containing materials, including asbestos pipe insulation, asbestos ceiling tiles, and asbestos flooring. The scope of work also includes localized interior demolition and removal of select mechanical systems. All work shall be performed in accordance with the written asbestos abatement project design and applicable regulatory requirements, including AHERA, NESHAP, and MIOSHA. This project supports environmental compliance, hazardous building materials management, and safe maintenance of public school facilities.
