Midland ESA is requesting bids from licensed asbestos abatement contractors for the Sugnet Building Asbestos Abatement Project. Northern Analytical Services, LLC has prepared a written asbestos abatement project design to identify the regulated materials, document the abatement scope, and support compliance with applicable project requirements. NAS will also provide asbestos project monitoring and clearance testing in accordance with AHERA requirements. The scope of abatement includes removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing flooring, plaster, thermal system insulation, and window materials from various areas of the Sugnet Building to support a major renovation project. This project supports safe school facility renovation planning, asbestos removal, hazardous building materials management, environmental compliance, and protection of occupants within a public educational facility.
