Kenowa Hills Public Schools is requesting bids from licensed asbestos abatement contractors for the Early Childhood Center Asbestos Abatement Project. The project will be completed in two phases during June 2026 and June 2027 and includes removal and proper disposal of select asbestos-containing materials from the Early Childhood Center building. The scope of work includes asbestos-containing flooring, window glazing, and thermal system insulation located in classrooms, tunnels, corridors, the kitchen, and gymnasium areas. Northern Analytical Services, LLC has prepared a written asbestos abatement project design to identify the regulated materials, document the phased abatement scope, and support compliance with applicable project requirements. NAS will also provide asbestos project monitoring and clearance testing in accordance with AHERA requirements. This project supports safe school renovation planning, asbestos removal, hazardous building materials management, regulatory compliance, and protection of occupants within a public school facility.
