Delta College S-Wing Asbestos Flooring Abatement

Delta College is requesting bids from licensed asbestos abatement contractors for the Delta College S Wing Asbestos Abatement Project. The project includes removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing corridor floor tile and associated asbestos-containing flooring adhesives from the first and third levels of the S Wing. The asbestos removal work will be completed using wet grinding methods to support proper removal of regulated flooring materials and preparation of the affected corridor areas. Northern Analytical Services, LLC has prepared a written asbestos abatement project design to define the scope of work and required abatement procedures. The project is a non-AHERA asbestos abatement project and will include PCM clearance air monitoring following completion of the work. This project supports safe facility renovation, asbestos removal, hazardous building materials management, and regulatory compliance within a Michigan college facility.
