Coleman Public Schools is requesting bids from licensed asbestos abatement contractors for the Coleman Public Schools Asbestos Abatement Project at Coleman Jr./Sr. High School. The project includes removal and proper disposal of various asbestos-containing materials from the school building, including asbestos-containing flooring, caulk, fume hoods, sinks, doors, and pipe insulation. Northern Analytical Services, LLC has prepared a written asbestos abatement project design to identify the regulated materials, define the scope of work, and establish required abatement procedures. NAS will also provide asbestos project monitoring during the work and conduct post-remediation verification testing using TEM methods in accordance with AHERA requirements. This project supports safe school renovation planning, asbestos removal, hazardous building materials management, regulatory compliance, and protection of occupants within a public school facility.
